After starting her multi-million dollar presentation business almost 10 years ago from her kitchen bench, we’re very proud to announce that our Founder and CEO Emma Bannister has been named a NSW finalist in the highly-competitive 2015 Telstra Business Women’s Awards.
Emma was selected from thousands of entries to be a NSW finalist in the _??Entrepreneur’ category this week, so we asked her a few questions about why she entered the awards and how she felt when she found out she was a finalist.
First things first, Emma didn’t enter the awards. She was nominated by a client which is testament to her achievement and the positive impact she has had on clients.
_??Being a finalist in this year’s Telstra Business Women Award is a rare chance to stop and reflect on how much I have achieved in building one of Australia’s first presentation business from the ground up.”
_??I am truly honoured to have been selected as a NSW finalist in the 2015 Telstra Business Women’s Awards. The process, from filling in the entry form to attending the panel interview, has been a brilliant opportunity to reflect on all the achievements, pains and learnings._??
She believes that having access to a large audience through the Awards means Presentation Studio can educate more people as to the importance of professionally created presentations.
_??When you bring content and design together you get clarity of the message. This enables speakers to deliver with confidence which ultimately gives you the power to influence your audience._??
The finalists will all gather at a gala event in Sydney to find out who the winner is on 27th October and the whole team are looking forward to celebrating the night together.
In the meantime, if you would like Emma to come into your office and share her knowledge on how to get the competitive edge with your next presentation, send us an email at helllo@presentationstudio.com with your contact details and we will give you a call back to set up a time.
